Zulie does, that’s true. Tim doesn’t write about Medium on Medium, he writes about self improvement. There’s tons of writers with 50K+ readers and they don’t write about getting followers on Medium. Even for those that do (like Zulie and a few mid level writers) it’s not a Ponzi. There is no way to run a Ponzi scheme here. Sorry you’re so frustrated.
