In her testimony, she said Dereham raped her “with importunate force.” She also said she didn't sleep with Culpepper. They ignored all of it. A woman's voice didn't have any merit in a trial. It was only a man's testimony that mattered. So when the 2 men said yes, they had sex with her, that's all that mattered.
