You're welcome, Jim. Bigotry, hate and uneducated opinions are big issues to me. I wish they were to more people. Too much willful blindness in the world that causes unnecessary suffering.

Whether anyone has approached Medium, I don't know. What I do know is that there's a vocal conversation about the pressure on editors to "clear the queue."

I have no way of knowing, but it makes me wonder if the person who published the post even read it.

With the pressure to "clear the queue," I suspect some of the editors don't read submissions very thoroughly or maybe scan them at best, looking for typos and image credits and such. That's a real problem, on more than one level.

Any time you put 33 people in a room, there's going to be a variety of responses. That's what I'm seeing. Some people get it. Some do not.

For me, I'm watching to see how it's handled, but I suspect it may be that the writing is on the wall.
