You’re so right about the fine line between demographics, profiling, and stereotyping. Back in the 1950s, perhaps every 35 year old white woman in the suburbs wanted to buy that new frigidaire. Today, not so much. And, don’t even get me started on buyer personas. (that’s an article in itself)
We live in a time when there’s more diversity than ever, and it sure fuels my dislike of stereotyping. Probably because I don’t fit any of the stereotypes I’m “supposed” to. lol.
