You were so lucky. I know a guy who also went to Catholic school in the 60s. He said the nuns tied his left hand behind his back to break him of being left handed because only children of the devil used their left hand. lol. I guess nuns are like the rest of us humans, which is to say there's good ones and not so good ones.

I went to public school and had the same teacher for 2 years. Zero bullying those years . She wouldn't tolerate it and threatened to smack bullies with a yard stick. God I loved that woman. All of maybe 4 foot 6 and took no crap from anyone.
