You should definitely check out Substack. At least your audience is your own there. Here, they’re Medium’s audience and every writer is just one dish in a very big buffet.

In the piece you linked, you say “The Person Who Thinks I stole her work has not contacted me directly, but a friend of hers has flat-out accused me of it.”

There’s a lot of that here and I’m sorry it happened to you. Here’s what I’d suggest — if anyone named you by name, report the post to Medium. Medium doesn’t allow personal attacks here and they generally tell the person to remove it. I say generally because some get through. Then I’d block or mute everyone related and be done with the whole mess. It’s just not worth your peace of mind. Easier said than done, I know. Trust me when I promise I say that from experience.
