You notice it doesn't say anything about lists in there, right? That's because when they wrote that post in 2015, there was no lists yet.

Let's say some plagiarist comes to Medium and makes a list of 1000 posts they want to steal for their own site. Then they plug the list url into some scraper software. The scraper grabs all the content.

Then I notice and block the user. That means they can't see my new content, but they still grabbed all my old content from a list url on their own profile.
