You know, Jack, it’s a good thing I didn’t have a mouth full of coffee when I read this line.

I know a “good Christian woman” who believes in God and is sure to share photos of her family at the shelter serving Christmas dinner so all her FB friends can see what good and holy people they are, but also believes homeless people should be moved out of the city so they don’t scare the good folks shopping at the mall.

Because (apparently) it’s scary to see a homeless person, or heaven forbid, an addict sleeping on the bench outside and her children shouldn’t have to see that, because she pays her taxes. And then back to church come Sunday, you know.

Nevermind that it’s her bible that says “whatever you do unto the least of my brothers, you do unto me.

Stuff like that makes me lean towards thinking there’s a real big difference between “believing in God” and “practicing” anything remotely close to religious beliefs. You know?
