You have a really poignant writing style and I think you could be doing really well here. The trick is finding your audience, of course. They’re here, they just don’t know you yet.

Fiction isn’t an area I’d delved into much. I had no idea how many dead pubs there are. Wow. I joined one of the Medium FB groups, so I’m going to ask to see if anyone knows which fiction pubs are active and good. Never hurts to know and if I find any, I’ll come back and pass it along.

In the meantime, do you mind if I make a suggestion? Every story you write, tag it with Short Story and Fiction — and any three other tags that fit the story. Honestly, I’d even suggest you go into previously published stories and click to edit them, but then just edit the tags to add Short Story and Fiction.

Both of those tags have top writer lists and I promise it will not take long for you to show up on those lists, which will give you some visibility. :)
