You can, but I find lolz an easy way to let people know when I’m aiming for humor, even if I miss the mark. When I sprinkle in the humor cues, I get fewer angry comments from offended men who think I’m being “arrogant for a woman.” Yes, I have actually been told that. Lost count of how many times. Sad, given that it’s 2021, but here we are. It’s one of the nicer things they say, so there’s that. :)
