Yeah, I hear you. When the article in the Atlantic fueled that open letter to the founders of Substack, I posted this post on both Medium and Substack. After I posted it, several of the people who were part of the letter to Substack contacted me. They said they don't actually plan to leave Substack. They were just trying to pressure the owners. Basically the whole thing was lip service. Because they know it's everywhere.

I'm glad I don't see the ads you do. Maybe it's because I'm not American. Know what I see? My playlists are bombed with make money online ads. I don't read that kind of content. I don't buy those kinds of products. But yet that's what I get. Friend, want to know how you, too, can make money from home? Ugh. It drives me a bit nuts.
