Wow. Steps 3/4/5 are killer and must take a lot of time. It’s really nice of you to do all that, but I wonder if there’s a way to put more of the responsibility back on the writer.
This same sort of thing happens in guest blogging, too. People cobble together a post and want someone to publish it before it’s ready for publishing.
I wonder if there’s a way to simplify it on your end. Maybe take a small handful of the stories you’ve worked with in the past and show before/after.
Then you could post a link to the before/after studies as part of your submission guidelines. Maybe the submissions would be requiring less work?
I don’t know — just thinking out loud. Mostly I wanted to say how impressed I am by all that you do for your writers. :)
