Truth!! I have been self employed for over 20 years. Biggest lesson I had to learn was to factor that stuff into pricing because the hours spent doing piddly administrative tasks are hours we’re not doing client work, but they’re still part of operating costs and need to be factored in.
Agree on the rest, too. I started out working way too many hours but discovered that the work suffered. When I enforce time off for myself, I work better during the “on” ”hours.
