To some people, that’s not a bug it’s a feature. Viktor Frankl once said that half the world has the capacity for evil and half the world does not. He suggested that instead of judging each other by race, creed or color, we should judge by the capacity for evil.

In which case, those who do not have that capacity have to stand up for what is right for humanity as a whole. As the saying goes, all that is required for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

And so we do nothing. Because as you point out, we are busy pushing the rat lever for our own personal buzz. Thanks for another good thought piece. :)
