This should have gone in the "thieves" section, above. Henrietta Lacks didn't give them her cells. They took them from her. She was given no choice.

Those cells made millions for the people who took them and she received no compensation. Over half a century later, her family is still fighting for compensation. They won't get it. They can't afford the better lawyers.
