This is the hardest part. I do see. And I don't know how to help. It's like watching the war in Ukraine. My family came to Canada from there. I still have family there. If they are still alive, anyway. And I am helpless to do anything. I feel the same way. There are LGBTQ people I love with all my heart and I watch just as helplessly.
