This is one of those horrible stories that I don't know if there is a right answer to. Yes, those poor little boys didn't deserve to die. Their mothers to suffer and grieve for the rest of their days. And it's true that not everyone who lives trauma turns to murder. Some people experience trauma and then inflict it on others. I'm not sure that's better. I don't think there was any good outcome. The only way there could have been would have been if Mary was given for adoption to a loving family as a newborn. Maybe then.
