This is a good article and it’s true that struggle is how we grow. Lottery winners aren’t a good example though.

They’re not broke in 2 years because they didn’t learn struggle. Most of them have never done anything but struggle.

What happens is that they win, and the family & friends descend like zombies that smell fresh meat. If you read the stories of some of them, you’ll be astounded at how many gave it all to family and friends who were also struggling.

Sure, there’s a few that blow it on “things” — but a shocking number couldn’t say no to friends and family that needed financial help with failing businesses, mortgages, etc. And then it’s gone. Poof. Back to struggling.

There’s more than one kind of struggle. Financial struggle doesn’t always make people stronger. Sometimes it beats them down… but that’s a whole article itself.
