This hurts my heart.

My reason is the same one that beautiful anonymous writer in British Columbia expressed— religion. I live with the fear that the Christians who make up a majority of my community will reject or mistreat me. Slowly, without realizing I was doing it, I have crawled back into a closet I burst out of decades ago.
