They scraped Common Crawl, which Medium doesn't block. That's another thing I'm going to write about. I've worked in tech for years. Started as a programmer, moved to front end because programming made me crazy. But I built one of the first shopping carts, back before shopify. I just haven't written much in that area. lol.
