They don't need to. They just want to shoot the people who want their food. They're not even thinking what they're going to do when the air isn't breathable because of forest fires. Or when the flood wipe out coastal cities and all those people move inland. Having money and having brains aren't the same, no matter how much the 1% would like us to think so.
