The writing interface at Vocal isn't Medium, for sure. I'm more excited to see what changes come as the two platforms go head to head. Once Vocal launches followers and we can actually build a following there, it will be a different story I think. Once I can build a following there, the fact that they pay for external reads might make a real difference. Too soon to tell, because the feature isn't live yet, but I'm watching, too. :)
