The pandemic has exacerbated my anger at the culture we live in. Some people have lost everything. Those of us who still have jobs are seeing what you describe, yes. But it makes me angry how many of us trade our entire damn lives so rich people can get richer. And most people think it's okay, and dudes get on the internet and write about how "inspiring" the wealthy are. Something is terribly wrong with the human race as a whole. Sorry this was so long. Guess this whole year has pushed some buttons. Excellent piece.
