The irony is that I get emails almost every day from Amazon, or at least it sure feels like it and none of them look like that.

I don’t know if you do email marketing with any frequency, but it’s part of my job. I do 4–7 emails a week, more during Q4. What I can tell you is that they are editable blocks. What the template looks like and what the final email looks like can be as different as night and day.

The irony of this story is that someone at Amazon actually hit send on a blank template. Have to wonder if the guy still has a job. :)
