That’s the part that slays me. The look, and how often it’s patronizing. Interesting word, patronizing. Daddy knows best, right? I don’t hate men. I never want to be that “man-hating” woman. But that look has to go. The world has no room for it anymore. Never did, of course, but the time has come. The hard part is that to agree to equality, men have to give up perception of superiority. That’s all it ever was, of course. A perception. Admitting the straw man was never real seems to be a hard thing for some men. Not all, thank heavens. But still, too many.
