That's the key word. Spreading. Too many people on the "other side" of the mask debate are only thinking of themselves.
They say things like their immune system is great, or we need exposure to keep our immune system strong.
Problem is, lots of people have compromised immune systems. We with the "strong" immune systems can have the virus but never show symptoms or get sick. But we sure can pass it along to others who would not be so fortunate.
In London, WWII, people were told to cover their windows at night so the enemy wouldn't know where to drop bombs. No one said it's their "right" to turn on the lights.
Our rights don't include the right to put others at risk. Masks are no different.
