That’s for sure. Anxiety is more like part of the landscape we call life. We have to pass through it, but we don’t need to pitch a tent and camp out there.

I once read that our initial reactions to things that happen are physiological. Our bodies pump out chemicals in response to our surroundings and the way we feel has a physiological element that we do not control.

But that physiological response is short lived. After that, it’s mental and we have the option to change and affect how long we stay in that state. I found that comforting.
