That’s a contradiction for sure, but apparently not uncommon. I read that Jordan Peterson said his favorite was Dostoyevsky. That’s as confusing as Rand liking Hugo. But here’s an interesting tidbit. Apparently Hitler said one of his favorite writers was Nietzsche. And yet there was no Nietzsche in his collection of over 600 books. Makes you wonder, right?
