Spot. On. Because they had 3 choices. Trump, “that” woman, or stay home. So they stayed home. Because I heard a lot of that leading up to the election. A lot of people saying they don’t have a problem with a woman, but just with “that” woman. Won’t go into that here.

Point being it’s very lovely when you can vote for the candidate you “like.” But when there’s not a candidate you “like,” staying home is not the better option. Sometimes you need to vote for the sole purpose of voting against who should not hold that power.

I don’t know that Clinton would have been better. But I do believe we wouldn’t be seeing the surge in blatant racism and white supremacy that we’re seeing right now. The president sets a tone for the entire country of what kind of behavior is acceptable.
