Sieran, your second paragraph made me full on laugh out loud. I have SO been there. Never fails that I think of a better one the day after I publish. I’m trying to sit on them a little longer to see if a better title comes to me when my mind is fresh.

Poetry is a whole different animal, for sure. I write a little of it, and what I tend to do is use two sentences for the title. First sentence is the title of the poem. Second one is something catchy. Then when people click in, just be sure you put the actual poem title at the top.
