Right? One of the recent Pulitzer winners writes that way, too. I think it’s Jennifer Egan, who wrote A Visit From The Goon Squad. I listened to an interview where she described how she writes. She sits at the table and writes long hand. When a page is done, if it’s any good it gets to stay on the table. If it sucks, she pushes it onto the floor and starts over. When a chapter is done, they get set aside and she starts a new one. lol. Guess we all need to figure out what works for us.
