Quality is a wiggly worm, though. Some of the people you’re talking about have 10K and 20K followers.

So the question is — do they have that many followers because of frequency or quality? Probably both. They wouldn’t have the following if people didn’t like what they’re writing.

I get what you’re saying in general— I’ve unfollowed people because I don’t what they bring in my feed incessantly. But clearly they have their audience. It’s just not me.

I only get to pick what quality means to me. I don’t get to pick what it means to anyone else. You know? :)
