Problem is, Trump’s America doesn’t believe in climate change, and they’re not just climate deniers, they’re extinction deniers, too.

Last month, the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) released a 1500 page report showing that nearly a million plant and animal species are facing extinction.

Such widespread loss, the report indicates, could unravel natural processes like animal pollination and fish stock regeneration, the basis of agriculture and civilization. But, why not piss on one’s own food supply, right? As long as you have a plastic straw, it’s all good.
