People who’ve never had to think about skin color have privilege they (often) don’t even see. I’m a white woman by anyone’s standards. But as a child, I’d walk to school and grown-ass adults would duck behind their fences and hiss “go home, Jew” at me. Most white people have no clue what it’s like to be judged that way.
