People who’ve never had to think about skin color have privilege they (often) don’t even see. I’m a white woman by anyone’s standards. But as a child, I’d walk to school and grown-ass adults would duck behind their fences and hiss “go home, Jew” at me. Most white people have no clue what it’s like to be judged that way. Thanks for this post.
