Omg, Felicia. This is so many shades of great. I would like to say people boggle my mind, sometimes. But they don’t. There’s too much of it and it’s not even surprising anymore.

When someone posts free information that’s helpful and has a typo, the decent response would be “this is really helpful. thank you. PS. there’s a typo. That’s only decent.

The kind response would be to thank the writer in person and send the typo via private message, politely, as a heads up.

Unfortunately, there are too many people who are neither kind nor decent. At least in their comments.
