Okay you made me laugh. That wasn’t a cultural reference. I’m from farm country, middle of nowhere in the prairies. We say y’all. And we wear bunny hugs (jackets made out of the same fabric as sweatpants). And people call a garage a “gradge” (rhymes with madge) and you’d be amazed how many people say warsh instead of wash.

When I moved to Toronto, it took a long time to get the hang of slang. When I moved back home because my parents were aging too fast, it took no time to slip right back into it local speak. Pockets of any country, you know? ;)
