Oh Rob, my heart goes out to you. A lot of kids are afraid to talk about suicidal thoughts and that terrified me, so I told mine that no thoughts are off limits. Also worth remembering that while half of trans kids have suicidal thoughts, just as many do not. Perhaps there will be a day when your child’s SO can join you on a move to a more inclusive place.
