Oh no worries, it kind of makes me happy when people comment as they read. What writer wouldn’t love that kind of engagement — it means I told a story well. Spot on with the dog comment… animals aren’t cruel and we’re supposed to be “better” than animals. We’re not. And yeah — pretty sure Eugenics goes back to the beginnings of man. We’ve always done it. Sad, really, because there’s just no good or humane reason for it.
