Oh love, but you do. You just follow your gut. There are different kinds of help. I am sure those speakers were marvelous. But, see, they don't happen every day to an audience of 3600 people.

What you do isn't lesser, it's just different. Yes, the world needs impassioned speakers filled with the fire of activism. But we also need the people who just quietly show up, day after day. To show us that we can go on, no matter how awful it feels.

I think your son would love the dog blog. He would want you to have something that's a small bit of light in the dark. I don't think you realize how much you inspire people just being you.
