Nah, Trump didn’t do all that. He’s just a mirror, reflecting the country’s state of mind at a specific point in time. Perhaps he sees himself as a demagogue. I rather think he dreams of dictatorship. All those jokes about more than two terms aren’t really jokes, they’re insight for those who can see it.
Mostly, he’s a little child in a man’s body. A small child yells an opinion and then runs away to hide. An adult stays in the room and tries to resolve the issue. There’s a lot of children walking around in adult bodies. Aging is not optional. Maturing is. He behaves more like a child than an adult. But don’t forget — he did not get into office all by himself.
