My opinion only — it’s not whether there’s numbers beside the text that counts. It’s whether or not it’s good.

When people come up with demeaning terminology, it’s shorthand that does no one any good. Ooh - listicles... you can almost hear the derision.

People use that phrase to look down their nose at someone for *not* writing long form. Moral superiority at it’s finest.

Well, you know what? There’s listicles that are great and there’s long form writing that’s not so good, too.

No matter the form, either it leaves the reader satisfied — or it does not.
