My Mom is turning 90 in Feb. and she grumbles about the “old people” in her apartment who are 10–20 yrs younger than her because they “don’t do anything but sit there waiting to die...”

She goes dancing and sings at Karaoke nights. Cooks for the women’s club and campaigns for the heart & stroke foundation. At 90. Cracks me up. Hope it’s hereditary.

I figure if I’m not sitting around waiting to die, I’m not old yet. Probably applies to you, too. ;)

P.S. Hot damn — we had that same wallpaper but in sunshine yellow. Never thought I’d see that pattern again. Life is weird.
