Minimum wage used to be the minimum wage a person could actually live on, and CEOs used to make 35x the average worker, not 1000x the average worker. We need to stop advocating for the rich and demonizing the poor. And while we're at it, the people who spout how it "used to be" and think they just worked harder need to look up actual numbers.
