Makes perfect sense. Full bellies make sluggish minds. Here’s mine — I write slightly tired. First thing in the morning or at the end of the day. When I’m a bit tired, the inner critic isn’t in full form. Then I edit when I’m more awake and the inner critic knows what to chop and what’s missing.

I’m one of those people who takes too long to write and even longer to edit. I’m working on shortening up the time it takes. Thanks for the inspiration. :)
