It’s not so much whether companies can make it into the top 500 — it’s more that when they look at which companies are the current top 500, the top positions are glaringly white. But you make a good point, because the top 500 aren’t static — new companies push older companies out of that list all the time and sure would be nice to see more diversity moving into the Fortune 500 list.
