It’s a funny dance, you know? Because I have had “blunt” feedback (not vitriol, but not polite either) that was really helpful. But at the same time, there’s a bit of danger in writing to please others too much.

I remember once writing a post and having one person say they enjoyed the humor in the piece, while another person said to stop trying to be funny and just stick to facts. We can’t please everyone, but we can at least keep an open mind.

Also — you are refreshingly honest and wanted to say how much I enjoy that. :)
