It would seem to me that there are only 2 reasons a police officer would shoot a human being. Fear for their safety. Or hate. Considering that the number of white men shot in similar situations is drastically lower, I have to assume the police are either afraid of black men. Or they hate them. Perhaps what's needed is to figure out which it is, and start there.
