It almost never does and it's tragic. I see the same in the feminism space. Women who write about women's issues get pounded with hate, vitriol and death threats. The same happens in the LGBTQA community. It's like being an activist in any marginalized space gives people a name to hang their hate on. I am so sorry to read that Henry took his own life. So much kudos to his mom for speaking out loudly.
