Interesting, though, the language we use, isn't it? I can't recall a time when a male politician was described as "calm and strong." Calm is a word we use for women. You know, because they're not hysterical. lol.

Likewise, when we say men are emotional, it means an entirely different thing than when we say that about a woman.
