I’m not even sure they are spokes on a wheel, though I’m on board with the ENOUGH part.

All those “best practices” are little but words. Puffery and stuffery and inglorious damned BUZZ words that make us feel important.

There’s a world of difference between “applying best practices” and “do the best damn work you are capable of doing, no excuses.”

When people spout the former, they’re SO often not doing the latter. It comes down to are you going to talk the talk, or walk the damned walk? You know?
